The scratch-like and rogue-like game! Our mission is to reach P = 2^1024 (1.798x10^308), but it is enough to calculate loops? No worries, there are operators, variables, and constants! Achieve goals from rewards, challenge achievements, and find secrets...

It is recommend to play the game with PC, even with bigger mobile (such tablet)...
If web build doesn't work or runs badly, we're pleasurely sorry...
I have no idea how to make music (because of deafness), so I applied "typing" sound to the game.

Tutorial

Tutorial is enabled by default (recommend for beginners who played the game first), you can disable it.
  1. Choose existing operators, variables, and constants (on right).
  2. Insert, replace (modify), and remove into code (on left).
  3. Run (aka Loop), pressing "Play" button.
  4. Repeat #1...

If line is long enough (or exceed code's width), you must Shift+Scroll to scroll horizontally, or, as mobile users, swipe left or right!

This is "Store" button which switches Store Mode where you can choose unempty operators to store! This is a WIP button. Use at own risk...

I hope the "Store" button works fine...

I really loved the game I wish there was a save feature tho~

really great game, love it!

I think I broke your game.

Very fun! It took me a bit to discover the "Store" mechanic.

something is happening, i don't know what is happening but it is

Interesting idea, but i'm having a hard time reading. Please revisit the colors and contrast. Red and black on gray is not straightforward to read especially on low brightness displays like how i prefer mine.

I'm doing pretty good!

When I'm playing, my thinking process slowly goes from "How can I achieve that" to "Hmm, big numbers".
Over all, very fun concept.

Wow, mrredshark77 is actually DHH(Deaf or hard of hearing)?

Extremely good game, love it! Only suggestions would be to start with 90% zoom (so that the operator panel has three columns), and some kind of auto-sort for operators/variables. Other than that everything is perfect!

I got to 2^10^38, but didn't figure out the recursion achievement. Any hints?

Thx to this game, I finally understand what infinity is for other incremental games and why it is that

Edit:also, this would be a great rogue-like if you made some changes

(+2)

I reeeeally want a full version of this

(+3)

Math? in MY Roguelike? My brain is broken 10/10

(+2)

lol i got infinite on my 3rd turn or smth

this is how i got it

wait why are you not using your repeats?

i was using them but i wanted to move them out, i forgot to put them back in my inventory

oh, i see

Great game. Would be nice if there was a way to quickly find a variable or operator I want, like maybe a sort feature.

Oh, I love roguelikes — but Iโ€™ve definitely never seen one like this before!
Loops, variables, and goals? Just what you need to relax your brain (nah)
But still, I couldnโ€™t stop — it keeps pulling you in. Great job!

Nice game! Very similar in idea to mine, but we with quite different executions. Nice job!

Getting all (at the time) 18 achievements was very fun, even though i had to reload the page like a hundred times for every good run

Don't need to reload the page, there's "Give Up" button, and "Play Again" button when completing the game

Hitting the refresh is faster

I think the requirements don't scale quick enough

I got 10^10^7.932x10^4730416

Somewhere before that the goals get completed even if nothing is added

So fun! I like it. :)

imr evolution when

im kinda confused as to what you're supposed to do. I can't figure it out.

please release this on Github.

I will release after the jam posting ends

(or right now)

Pretty Cool

Game seems neat, but is very clunky to play at the moment

Some issues near the start. If you have a node that has a more nodes in it, sometimes clicking the node to remove it deletes all the nodes inside. You don't get them back to place again, which has led to me being unable to use my "b" variable outside of the initial setter. Not sure how exactly to get it to happen reliably, but it has ruined a few attempts.

The nodes you get at the end of a round all appear to be very limiting. For example, I don't see any of the repeat nodes implied by the game description. I get a lot of basic variables, and setters to directly set a variable to a value, which doesn't scale well. Perhaps reducing the number of variables you have access to early (I don't need 1 of every letter of the alphabet to start) so it's more likely usable nodes show up would be helpful.

UI around the nodes you have could also be improved, as it's hard to tell what I have access to with the jumble of nodes in no clear order.

Thanks for feedbacks, I hope I could fix them before deadline!

Also, how many estimated nodes inside that node (like 32 or 128)?

Update: I tried this bug and nothing for me... I'm confused

(+1)

I had it happen with a node depth of 3-4. I've not been able to reproduce it very frequently, so I'm not sure how exactly to get it to happen. I definitely lost all of my "b" variables somehow, though. Apologies I can't be more specific with it. I'll let you know if I manage to find it again.

There is repeat node exist, so it's the lowest chance such as []^log[]...

I've beaten the game and have done a few slow runs, still have never seen it. Feels like the chance for better nodes is static at the starting low rate, so there's no progression as the target score gets bigger and bigger.

Also, I will add information: Shift + Scroll to scroll horizontally

Generally nice game.

I was playing to get exact number required for next bar. And I encountered a bug at 10^27. Visually I've 10^27 / 10^27 so I should get new elements, but I didn't. It's probably because you are using floating points and there is some error in underlying value caused by loss of precision. If you would like to solve it you should probably look at some big numbers library.

Best regards

It's not bug, it's rounding precision issue, so yeah... Thanks

umm, I am getting this error.
seems a part of the game is in a Google Cloud that I can't get to.

Just a browser game, how is it supposed to be error?

true, but some issues come into play when you have more than one thing,
So if the game is running locally via say itch.io/game, there's no issue, but if it leads to say Game.GCloud.Google, which in turn leads to a personal web server on a Pico...then there's at least 3 web jumps to handle, and if say something inside the /\ URL above isn't able to get to say Game. An asset stored in a Google Cloud folder, which was set to private for a moment, prevented the game program from loading that asset. If that asset is needed, such as the background for the main menu, the game crashes. However, in my case, it simply stated, 'Hey, found it,' but I can't read it.
